CHARLOTTE REGION: Regional GSA Network meetings occur at Time Out Youth Center the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm. Meetings provide a great opportunity for GSA members and faculty advisors to connect with representatives from other schools, get ideas for activities they can do with their club, and make partnerships with other clubs in the area. GSA Network meetings provide leadership development and focus on important topics like intersectionality, racial justice, supporting transgender rights, advocating for change in middle and high schools, and collaborating with other student clubs to build coalitions.
STATEWIDE NETWORK: The North Carolina GSA Network connects all Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) in the state and helps coordinate regional and statewide events and campaigns. By registering with Time Out Youth Center under the “Register Your GSA” page, you will find out about events in your area, local and national awareness campaigns, tips on how to organize your club, and ways to collaborate with other clubs in your region and across the state. You will also be connected to clubs across the United States through the national GSA Network, which is a partner organization of Time Out Youth Center.
