Carolina Conference on Queer Youth (CCQY) is an annual conference dedicated to advancing the well-being and rights of LGBTQ+ youth in educational and community spaces. CCQY brings together educators, counselors, administrators, social workers, advocates, and allies from diverse, youth-serving backgrounds to collaborate, educate, and advocate for positive change.
CCQY 2025 is presented by Time Out Youth, Carolina’s CARE Partnership, Charlotte Trans Health, Gender Education Network, PFLAG Charlotte, and Welcoming Schools.

- I’m not a youth-serving professional, can I still attend?
- The conference sessions will be geared towards educators and youth-serving professionals including admin, social workers, counselors, and more. If you are a caregiver needing support, please visit pflagcharlotte.org/ to learn more about peer support groups in the Charlotte area.
- Can young people attend?
- Not this time! This conference is for adult professionals in the community only.
- What options for food will you have?
- Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration cost. There will be options for vegans, vegetarians, and beyond! Please submit your dietary restrictions on your ticket so we know what foods to include/stay away from!
- I have accessibility concerns! What does the building look like? How can I submit a request for accomodations?
- The venue is fully ADA Accessible and every part of the building is wheelchair accessible. We will also have interpreters as needed for sessions. Be sure to list your accessibility needs in the form when you get your ticket!
- Will I get any continuing education credits for attending?
- All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendace for the time they are present. You can use this form to request CEU credits through your institution (School District, etc.)
- Are there scholarship opportunities for someone to attend if there are any financial restrictions to attending?

- Parking will be validated in specificed lot. Registered attendees will get address of parking lot closer to date!
